renovation // the maahsterfall’s (aka the hat)

You might have read my post a while back when I was trying to help draw some inspiration for my sister’s kitchen renovation… Well, it’s finally finished and the outcome is perfection!!

Here are a few before pictures…

I’m not sure you can tell from the pictures, but the space was a little awkward to work with (long and narrow room with the largest wall occupied with floor to ceiling windows) but with the help of Irene Langlois, they figured out a perfect plan that not only looks great, but is also very functional and great for having guests. Here are the after pictures…

Love this shot – fisheye lens captures the kitchen, powder room and dining room…

Yes please…

  1. Hi-
I’m considering almost the exact same layout for my kitchen reno, and I’m wondering if, after a year and a half of living with this beauty, your sister is still happy with it? Are there things she would change? Specifically, is she happy with the relatively small counter runs on either side of the cooktop? I’m guessing the wall with the fridge and oven is about 11 feet? Thanks for any response–a kitchen reno is an expensive project, and any real life feedback would be appreciated.
